Too bad there's so many trolls and whiny idiots in this thread. :(

this thread is becoming like the wazapp thread where nobody bothers to read previous comments before posting. Arie has clearly stated pr1.3 exists there is a delay for some polishing to be done.
Yet new and old members both continue whining either by blaming Elop for its "cancellation", begging Nokia to release it (as if they are going to listen to you) or just say that they've been abandoned.
For heaven's sake those of you who have been here for some while stop making a fool out of yourselves (you know who you are) and setting a pathetic tone to this thread.

it might be : more time = more bug fixes but the only certain is that pr 1.3 is real and confirmed many times but it's not a huge update like pr 1.2

I disagree with your rather astute observation for one reason... Nokia as it stands at this very moment does not feel as if they owe any Harmattan user in any location anything whatsoever.

My thoughts exactly. I'm prepared to wait, as long as it's as polished an update as they can possibly give us.

I've already had one phone in the past ruined by a botched final update(Moto Milestone), if this is to be the final official update for our beloved N9s then all I care about is some performace improvements and no nasty bugs or gremlins included. If that means waiting then I can be patient, after all we know there's only a small team working on this now.

Elop is managing the pr1.3 update :)

No worries, we will TOTALLY get Pr 1.3, even if it takes a little while.

It will fix ALL the bugs. Add like 100 new features (the N9 will get a 1.4 ghz processor in it... somehow)

They will open source the entire software, including the UI, remove Aegis, and Alien Dalvik will show up and let us run all Android apps at 100% compatibility with no lag.

But we'll have to buy a lumia to tether to it to use all those functions.

And have to install the Zune software to get the update.

Hey all

A few days ago I've emailed nokia through this page:

http://www.nokia.com/ch-de/support/kontakt/contact-us/

asking about pr 1.3. A day later I got a phone call (sic!) in which a really nice lady said three things:
- the update is coming for sure
- the exact date is unknown, cause the dev team is hard working at it takes time
- further updates are possible

So let's keep waiting and see.
