I cannot agree more.. if Marxian would bless us with one or both these apps, i can die in peace... So Marxian if you are out there and managed to get your hands on a jolla please answer to our cries..

Here he says he's not sure if he will finish the application, and says there are things about Sailfish OS he doesn't like ( Says the power management is like on Android, what do you think he meant by that?) and cannot justify the purchase of Jolla device to himself :/

Well, that's a quote from April (and March), so nothing new here (except for the power management, that has changed completely :p Now you can always ssh into the device.).

I don't think that the fundamental concept actually changed - if you leave an application running and turn of the screen it will still be frozen after a while AFAIK. They probably just fixed the WiFi wakeup, so that the device wakes up once it gets a packet over WiFi so you can connect over SSH even when it is not plugged in.
