Hi guys
i have installed my nitdroid to /dev/mmcblk0p6 - but it says in nitdroid - no sd card mounted
how can i mount SD card in nitdroid?

Alfred if i install nit on extcard - yes.
It use our /dev/mmcblk0p2, but i have another partition table..

Okay. i changed info in /and/etc/vold.fstab..mounted my sd with
mount -t vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/sdcard..and now i can see all what my sd contains but some apps tolds me that Can not detect SD Card

I can also confirm sending and receiving sms is working fine after the latest ofono update.
Also, was able to play xvid avi videos using moboplayer. (others wouldn't work though)

And it will not work for YOUR case. And NEVER will.

WFM, so any "fail" reports without logs are USELESS: I will NOT do anything, suspecting you just "applied" update incorrect.

I tried the sms fix but it doesn't work good. A friend of my will receive messages but a other friend not. Doen anyone else have the same problem?


This is what I have done:

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d ofono047s_oril009.tar.bz2
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/ofono047s_oril009.tar

That's good right?

If you have installed it into your emmc yes it should be fine.
No problem for me to send/receive having installed it into a sd card.

got passed that. now its telling me my SD card is damaged and keeps damaging my mamo kernel and power kernel everytime I boot into Android. I have to reflash maemo and then reinstall the other kernel. am trying an MMC install now but am not holding my breath.

I installed ofono update and messaging working fine. I got an update from market for gingerbread now working fine

Hi everyone. Well done on the thread. I am trying to install nitdroid but I can't seem to be able to. I have changed the filesystem of my home partition to ext4 (http://wiki.maemo.org/Changing_the_eMMC_filesystem) so as I don't think the android kernel would support ext4 I don't think mounting /and there would work.

My other options are creating an ext partition on my class 10 microsd or creating another partition from MyDocs. But I am a bit unsure on how to proceed and what to write in the multiboot item file. I already tried the auto-installer to install vostok(http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...staller+vostok) to the microsd but I am getting all types of weird errors when trying to extract the image which is strange because the extraction goes smoothly using the bzip2 command.

Can anyone help me please??

Installed it right now.
Damaged SD card, and No service from my provider. I will uninstall it and install it again then, sms is something that I need :P

EDIT: Ugh, got the airplane mode bug. Can't turn it off and I do not have a pin on maemo.

Or what? Because it isn't working for me. My girlfriend won't receive messages and Whatsapp doesn't work :(

what version is the best for phone calls , gprs , gps , skype and latitude ?

I used yours but you need to make sure you typed it in correctly..(spaced properly)

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d N11_market_fix.tar.bz2
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/N11_market_fix.tar

look at the wiki page..http://wiki.maemo.org/Nitdroid_easy_install_on_EMMC .. replace market fix with ofono patch

is there anyway to fix the corrupt sd card? after from an entire reflash? because the mounting doesnt work, the remounting doesnt work. I've remounted at least 100 times. FSCK fixes nothing. It was working fine for me when I unplugged my phone from computer. Although FSCK does find a cluster error when I choose 1 to change it, it says that it did nothing to the system. Weird.

the voice (u meant audio drivers) drivers are working but it seems that the MODEM drivers are not ! which present between the GSM and the AUDIO drivers (thats what i think)

and as long as speech recognition works (it send the recording of your voice to google and gets the text back to you) this means that VOIP programs just MUST work (sip or skype please ?)

and couldn't anyone just port the camera drives from maemo to nitdroid ? whats the problem in that ?

i think the maemo drivers are closed and i remember drunkdebugger saying something about the media server crashes when making a call?? check his twitter

installed the N11 over gingerbread from the wiki , gmail and market just give white screen and close , google talk crashes and the "fix market" in the wiki has some unknown steps !!!
