Well have you fsck'ed your partition lately? Anytime to boot from SD and you have a crash you should boot to flash and wait for the Linus wav to play, this indicates fsck is complete, then boot back to flash. You can also see the output from the fsck in /tmp/fsck.txt |
Re: Clone OS to SD Deb!! Boot from SD made EASY!!
ok i've partitioned my 8gb kingston sd card to primari 5gb fat16 and secondary partition 3gb linux ext2 cloned the flash to second partition and it works, but it says that my memory card is corrupted...
i've tried and reformat the fat16 partition but the same..it doesn't seem to see this partition on the cloned os... and i have no swap... what should i do?? PS: if i type free in xterm i get swap 0/0 |

Try re-installing it, be sure virtual memory is off

Tell why would you clone/copy the os to the SD card and what happens to the flash install?

I have keep trying your install tools deb on a n800 internal 4GB card. Afterwards, the device storage is always 1.68GB which looks like the 2GB configuration above. But it appears that I should get about 3.5GB? Should I instead be using the manual config you refer to at http://tablethacker.com/wp/?p=151&lang=en-us#more-151 to get the right size? Thanks. |
