Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

I also have found that there is a loop0 prosess running sometimes but the .debbie is not mounted. When this prosess is running its not possible to mount the usb-disk.
If I start debbie again and then run closechroot everyhing is ok again.

@fred1
What message do you get if you run closechroot from console?
On the df command you have debbie mounted.

Nothing to do; chroot not mounted!

@fred123

Try mount Mydocs. Looks like Mydocs isn't mounted

mount /home/user/MyDocs

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

to those having problems with USB and loop0, I need you to be sure that you're using Easy Chroot 0.2.6-2fremantle1.

If you are, please try to reproduce the problem. Reboot, run your Easy Debian apps, open a terminal and run "sudo closechroot" and copy the output into a post for me, then hook up the USB. Send me the output only if the USB doesn't work.

I'll probably have to release a new version of Easy Chroot with more diagnostic messages.

I'll need some output. Like "df -h"

Yes, I was saying that, but I tried to reproduce that now and failed. I was somewhat in a hurry when I couldn't mount by USB. I think I quickly checked for a mounted /.debian with df, didn't see it, and rebooted, was able to mount, and quickly reported back to you. But since I can't reproduce that now, I'm not sure any longer. Sorry... :o

EDIT: Seeing that others do have occasional difficulties with USB mounts in the newest version, I don't feel so foolish now...

Argh, this is frustrating; a ghost in the machine...

Well keep reporting, folks...

I did all what the tutorial say but I get the "no destinations added" message. What to do?
