It was only noticed because the rsync propagated the deletions also to my backup at disk. Luckily noticed it immediately and the restore at my PC seems to find all files - it is still running though. EDIT: something is strange. It seems the files were not deleted from the SD but were moved: Code:

my symlink of sdcard is incorrect. It is /media/sdcard/nemo/uuid...
