I haven't noticed anything happening on my Jolla 1, but the screen blanking definitely happens on my Xperia X. Could be something to do with the screen rotation.

I haven't been able to update my second Jolla 1 as it just doesn't want to update. The download doesn't even complete before it tells me it's ready for install (probably due to previous attempts to update). I'll probably do a factory reset because this one has been messed about with so much in the past and it has the TOHKeyboard installed.

Maybe you should try in the terminal, my XperiaX failed 3 times with the upgrade ... doing it manually immediately succeeded.

Can anyone with an updated tablet confirm? Mine is only a J1 with a patch, maybe it is just the patch that is messed up.

take it easy, should be fixed sf 3.0.0.6

I actually posed a question to Jolla on their Facebook page and got a favourable answer on the subject.

good question. i'm not have any privilege in jolla or sf, i'm not wishing too. that was based from any sources and what i knowing regarding the @pichlo issue has, so i wrote the word "should be" that mean it is parcially. i wrote the v3.0.0.6 to say v3.0.0.5up. it seems that @others is not very grateful.

So pure speculation?

This update seems to have fixed for me the battery drainage of previous version.
