With Sailfish OS 3.0.0 Jolla switched from naming the versions after finnish lakes and rivers to finnish national parks, as mentioned in their blog post. :)

I was going to ask how many of them there are and how quickly will they run out of names but a brief DDG search answered that ;)

Yes, they are not going to run out of parks that soon :D

Well, one could say that for rivers and seas, as well:
Quote:

if lake is defined to be a body of standing water larger than 500 square metres, then there are 187,888 lakes in Finland. On average, there are 40 lakes per 100 square kilometres in the district.

Does it mention that this old chestnut has been fixed?
Because, as far as I can tell, it has not. I still have to take my TOHOLED off every time I reboot (which is, fortunately, not that often).

At a year and a half, it is no longer funny and it makes me wonder. Is Jolla even aware of the problem?

I am pretty they are aware but they just do not care. :(

Or: a fix will come "soon"!

They are too busy fixing what ain't broken, such as the UI, to waste time on what is.

I can confirm it is not fixed; during the update this time I forgot to stop crond and it went absolutely crazy, spawning processes in hundreds. Fortunately I was updating via console and following journal when it happened, and was able to repeatedly "killall crond" until I managed to shutdown the main process...
Had I been updating via UI that would not have been possible and device had failed and went to unstable/unbootable state.

As daemon processes are not supported by Jolla store they of course have no priority to fix this issue.
