Re: [Palm OS] GVM: Running PalmOS apps via shortcut
I know it's a mix between those two lines ...
Exec = /usr /bin/gvm/gvm - fullscreen=yes /home/user/MyDocs/Palm/SLTG.prc Exec=/usr/bin/gvm/gvm -a THNK -f /home/user/MyDocs/Palm/SLTG.prc :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused: |

Re: [Palm OS] GVM: Running PalmOS apps via shortcut
I have two silly questions:
1) Once I launch an app, all the screen becomes only the Palm environment. How do I close it to go back to Maemo? So far, I have pressed power button and close the active app. 2) I'm trying to use iSilo, but I don't know where to place the files!!! Where is the Palm directory in Maemo? In iSilo, it says /Palm/Programs/isilo Thanks for your help!!!! Cheers. |

2) I copy the prc and pdb files to a folder called Palm that I created in MyDocs. After you install through the Garnet. 3) The shortcut is created as informed on this topic. Remembering to change the ID of the corresponding application. ex.THNK = smartlist2go, Enot = easynotes, PMcl = Palmary Clock, etc |

I use Oracle VirtualBox. In essence, my gvm's files are sent on a crazy ride. My Linux box is running Mint Julia 64 bit, installed Vbox on it. Created a VM with it (with networking sharing wlan0) and installed Windoze in that. Then while in Windoze, of course, I installed Palm desktop. On the host (Linux box) create a secure (optional) Ad-Hoc network, and connect to it or activate it. Launch Vbox, then Windoze, it will find the new network. Select network within hotsync in the systray in Windoze. In the gvm under hotsync it askes for an ip use the one from the guest not host. Mine was 10.42.43.34 works for me :) hope this helps someone The only thing I'm trying to do is set my serial and hotsync id so I can use my registration codes. |

hope that helps some, I haven't made it that far yet. I'm having hangs with my ROM launching any installed app. I'm also having trouble transferring my Treo 680 ROM from the device. I want to tinker with it. |
