Re: [UPDATED} Quick Clip, a statusbar plugin to save text
@ BrentDC
Thanks for the quick info ! Anyway these quirks can easily be worked around. And not letting files grow long keeps stylus sensitivity within reason and helps against the slingshot effect. Which encourages updating one's note databases ! I still like moko scrolling, it makes navigation easy ! |
Re: [UPDATED} Quick Clip, a statusbar plugin to save text

Re: [UPDATED} Quick Clip, a statusbar plugin to save text
Is there a way to do a keybinding for quick-note?
Example: I select some text I press ctrl-q (for insance) The text is automatically added to the top file I have w/in Quicknote. |

[ N810 , Quick Clip 0.4.5-2 ]
I wonder what's wrong with mine. In Edit mode searching works fine, Not so in View mode: The found characters don't match the search-pattern and each found instance is different. ( Not too bad, just a bit annoying.) By the way, after a rebuild and reinstall of Quick Clip, does one have to enter all the old filenames under "Manage Files..." ? It's still a great tool ! |
Re: [UPDATED} Quick Clip, a statusbar plugin to save text
[ N810 ]
I have rebuilt my system, reinstalled Quick Clip 0.4.5-2 , and set the Storage Path to /media/mmc2/Quick_Clip , where all it's old files are. But the statusbar icon only shows the three example filenames. Now viewing "Etc..." shows MY file with the same name. How do I make Quick Clip aware of my other files? Entering their names in "Manage Files..." works, but is there a simpler way ? |

Re: [UPDATED} Quick Clip, a statusbar plugin to save text
Hello Brent,
I am an user of NOKIA N900. I found your app from Application Manager and found it might be useful by reading is description. I downloaded your app, version 0.4.5-2 and re-booted my N900 after installation completed. However, I could not find your app in the Status Bar. As I also installed Quick-Launch which allows me to put shortcuts in the Status Bar, I added your app in it. However, when I clicked on Your App, nothing happened. I tried re-boot but still nothing happened. TC |
