In fact i am not sure if that is what i like. I would have liked the D pad on the face of the device but if there is totally no D-pad i am sad:( |

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...olf-splash.png seem to indicate that you're meant to navigate the options with the left / right keys and press space to accept the selected one. |
Re: Status of Fremantle stars and other interesting projects
Well i think that qwerty keyboard is configurable to simulate arrow keys.
If i had to select those icons i would defenitely use the D pad and after selecting the right choice i would by default press the center pad on the D pad. So now if there is no D pad and you can select those choices with the qwert keypad then your next best option to go into that selection is the enter key. I am not sure if anything makes sense to you guys. But andre not mentioning the center button of the D pad in order to make a selection in that menu means there is no D pad and the only other way is to press the ENTER key. |

Would you mind keeping this thread on topic and move the hardware discussion to any of the related threads already open? Thanks!

Re: Status of Fremantle stars and other interesting projects
I finally went for a walk with OSM2Go and... it works! Back home I could edit and upload the red paths you see in this little forest in Mäkkyla (Espoo), next to my place: http://osm.org/go/0xPMllfd
It's my first time editing successfully paths and nodes, connecting them, adding info, etc. On year and half ago I tried directly on OSM website and I couldn't figure out how to create the area of a town. First impression: success! Sure, there are minor things and more enhancements than pure bugs. But it's definitely ready for extras-testing. Thanks! |
Re: Status of Fremantle stars and other interesting projects
BTW, have you tried Tennix on a Fremantle device? Is it playable/ready for testing?
|
Re: Status of Fremantle stars and other interesting projects
It works. Too well: 6-0 6-0 6-0 (guess who won) :) ready for extras-testing.
Have you thought of a system 4 2 players, each one with own device, communicating via wlan or BT? let's continue in another thread, please. |
Re: Status of Fremantle stars and other interesting projects
