nop, 850/1900 for now... But i'm really wondering what the hell did all the big 3 bought the AWS frequencies.
Hopefully not only for roaming charges they can collect in Vancouver during the Olympics!

I want to preorder now, but I don't know what I should do. Expansys is just ridiculously over priced... I need a solution to this!

Hey joshua, you can actually buy the n900 here:
http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wire...roductid=25125
or
http://www.amazon.com/Nokia-N900-Unl...usposttoday-20

I am actually going to, not sure but i believe it will work with Fido/Rogers, in Vancouver

I expect the border fees to anything shipped from the US to be too high, if using UPS or FedEX. It's that elusive 'brokerage' fee that gets you in the end!

Use this utility to get a good estimate of "the final cost" if shipping from the US:
http://www.thefinalcost.com/

I'm thinking that the best bet may be to take a trip across the border and pick'r up. Buffalo isn't too far out of Toronto, and it'd be both faster and cheaper than buying through an e-tailer. You may want to call ahead though as it would be a bummer to take a trip only to find that they're sold out!

Of course, it is bound to be available from somewhere in Ontario sooner or later....

Well, finally got an (2) answer from MobileCityOnline...

They ship using FedEx and won't apparently ship with USPS.
Maybe if those who have ordered keep asking for USPS we can get them to move their a.. !

I'm sure best-buy or some other large retailer will carry it eventually....

It looks like we're left in the cold for the time being! ;)

Breaking news (or maybe not)!

It seems as though Rogers is primed to carry the N900! :)

Rogers carrying the N900?

Hmm, that's going to be a fiasco. 2.5 G EDGE is going to make the device look poky and slow compared to the 3G iPhones.

I hope that Wind picks it up as their flagship, instead.
