Really? Do you know what time that was happening? Daily backup usually happens between 1AM - 2AM (EST).

now i know its back up what happens between 6am and 7am UK
the site is unusable at that time i get server not responding errors for about 45 minutes every morning

Must be due to the mass emails being sent today about the Community Council Elections (plus MeeGo of course). Members are clicking on the links in the email and everyone is visiting TMO all at the same time.
