New Vulture's Eye build with the resized graphics provided by ArnimS is now available from Extras-Testing. Please, test and vote here:

Sorry, but I have not moved savefiles to ~user/.vultures: close examination of the source code shows that Nethack really, really wants all its state files to be in /usr/lib/<gamedir>. This is just how this thing has been written, ages ago.

I'd like to download this game, but I cannot see it in App Manager. Judging by th fact that I can see it at maemo.org/downloads, it means that I don't have to enable extras to get it. What am I missing here?

Have to try this out. Personally I'd prefer the 2D tiles version though.

Downloading this from extras does not work for me. I'm getting a 'package not found' error. Also it does not show in the app manager.

Looking at the comments at http://maemo.org/downloads/product/Maemo5/vultures/ more people have the same problem.

You should contact Extras administrator (X-Fade on IRC) about this problem.
