Re: Frozen Bubble 2 -- help!

According to the package page, it's a repository issue - the perl-modules package hasn't been promoted for some reason. Hopefully this'll get sorted out fairly shortly.

If you add -devel then it should just install (if not, it certainly shouldn't have been promoted to -testing).

Re: Frozen Bubble 2 -- help!

I promoted it, and I contacted X-Fade about perl-modules.
See http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...3-3osso11+0m5/
Perl is in the SSU repository for the N900, but it's broken in that repository (quite ironic tbh), he's still in talk with the SDK team so they can promote their own package there.

So yeah, it's not my fault :p

Edit: oh and,

I'm getting the perl error like the OP

unable to install with:
Code:

apt-get install perl
or
Code:

apt-get install perl-modules
Any assistance available?

I'm assuming as well that now this is in Testing it has been fully Optified?

Yes, it's fully optified, with Esc remapped to the , (comma) key (the one next to backspace)

Tested net play btw, played a game on LAN with my friend on my laptop (cross platform gaming ftw)

Re: Frozen Bubble 2 -- help!

If this game have Touch screen control option then would be awesome. Because it's a pain trying to play and have to slide the keyboard all the time. Just touch and tab would be enough, also no exit button nor save button. The only way to exit is by using the Ctrl+Back and press "x" at the corner.

Other wise it's a great game.

As I said above, esc is mapped to ",", so there's no need to use CTRL+Backspace.
As for mouse support (touchscreen in this case), the original games doesn't support it, so it'd need some heavy editing.

Yes but If you can get it to work then it would be the bomb!! This game will be great in Portrait mode.

Please add this :)
* Portrait mode
* Touch screen

Nice work, MohammadAG! The new escape Key works great with English key layout but unfortunately not with the German one... :-(
Do you see a solution for this? Many thanks....
