Depends on how fast we can all vote for it, doesn't it?

That's when it goes from extras-testing to extras.
I think extras-devel to extras-testing is controlled by the uploader.

MASTER

What "files" did you move?
Anyway, do as other uses suggested after uninstalling picodrive. If that didn't work, then find all *pico* files and remove them.

Uninstalling and re-installing and application often won't remove your personnel settings for that application.

So, if you had settings for the last instance of PicoDrive that don't jive with this one (common issue with devel level software), then you could see problems like the one you've got.

Try this:

Uninstall Picodrive.

Open Terminal.

rm -Rf .picodrive
(I'm not sure of picodrive's settings directory name, so execute an "ls -al" from terminal and look for any directories named ".pico*" or ".pd*"

Re-install picodrive from the apps catalog.

Actually i just restarted my N900 and it is back to working status.:D

Thanks for all the help you guys posted anyway. Trust me i was about to do it but i have realized in the past that before you do anything sometimes just restarting the device can help. (Maybe Ram?? IDK). But i was willing to do the suggestions you guys mentioned ;) .

Quick update. I have re configured my keys to WASD and that problem i mentioned about another command happening instead of the intended command does not happen with this set up. I am guessing there is something to do with Z and X plus the combination of K that makes this happen. Not sure what though ATM. A and S + K does not give me this problem so i guess i will just stick with a more default setting.

If anything else comes up i will let you all know ;). Thanks again for the help guys. you all are awesome!

The files i moved where the actual roms. They where in downloads but my downloads folder was getting cluttered with everything so i did a quick spring cleaning and made a new folder to move them in. When i did this and tried to play pico drive again it would keep saying game not started or just stay still and i could only close it with the end task option.

Anyway restarting your device after moving files seems to fix it however it might be cumbersome if someone just wants to play instantly and has to turn the device off and back on but let me tell you right now it is better than not having it work at all lol.:).

FYI to everyone if you move your files then you will have to restart the device.

Here is a few bugs i have ran into.

1) For some reason (based on my settings which are Z,C,S,X for left right, up and down and J,K,L for ABC) if i push Z+X and push K/B i somehow get a different command as in instead of B command coming out i get A. (this was tested on Streets of Rage 2) I wasa doing combos and then i was trying to walk away and quickly come back with a jab and the special came out =/. I beleive Dr.noksnes has a similar problem but i never posted it.

2) (Dr.Noksnes has the same exact problem, Might be a hardware issue though IDK..) if you push more than 3 or 4 buttons at the same time the controls will stop functioning until you let them go and then press them again. Both emulaters have this problem for some reason but its hard to do certain commands Without pressing about 4 buttons >.<. Like i said this could be something doing with the N900 but i could have sworn you where allowed to push as many keys as you want just like a laptop.

These are just a proof of the inadequacy of the N900's keyboard for gaming. Let's hope Nokia some day releases a meego device with a good d-pad :)

You don't need to restart your device, just refresh the ROM location. (Press ROM button and select the desired rom from the new location). Your saved games shouldn't vanish either. Anyway, bug noticed :)

Keyboard manufacturers often save some money by removing combinations that will probably never be used. This is true for most keyboards for computers too.
