does random reboot = signs of trouble?

At an overclocked speed I assume? Have you tried going back to stock speeds and seeing if the reboots persist?

I've been getting random reboots, 4 to count.. i'm gonna wait for another 2-3 more.. if it happens.

I sooo don't wanna tone it back to 600mhz.. im so enjoying the speed of 825mhz :(

you may have better luck trying the next highest o/c kernel until you find a stable one without crashes/reboots. i personally have been using lehto's undervoltage 800mhz kernel with outstanding speed + good battery life. i had to turn off smartreflex for it to work though.

There is a lower voltage 800Mhz kernel if you want to try that.
It runs the cpu at a lower voltage than even in stock form.
So in theory, it actually should produce less heat, use less power. Even at 800Mhz.

But after testing the 800 Mhz ulv kernel, I've to say that the 900 mhz one is much snappier and faster.

can someone make a stock kernel with 125

agreed, after many days with 900mhz i tried ulv 800mhz and its not as snappier as 900

It's always the same link to the Lehto's kernel. See my sig.

Also, the 800Mhz ulv kernel can easily be "unlocked" to 1ghz. :D

Re: N900 overclock tests/results and new versions

I've run a few different permutations of Lehto's 900 MHz and titan's kernals set to 900 / 950 MHz for several days each over the past full week. No problems with any of them. I've just installed titan's ulv kernal. I immidiately got a spontaneous reboot with my first attempt at 1 GHz, so I've backed down to 950 again. The keyboard feels MUCH cooler. I'm very happy with the work these guys are doing!
