Re: [Pre Announce] Shortcut Stash Home Screen Widget

i wonder if you could implement an option to open folders with FileBox instead of the standard file manager.
Also I hope you could speed it up a lil bit.
It's a great widget. very very usefull.

Keep it up!
Thx

Re: [Pre Announce] Shortcut Stash Home Screen Widget

Thanks!

I don't have filebox installed but I have to check it out and maybe I will implement that folders are opened with filebox. Maybe a setting is needed for the user to choose wheter fo use Filemanager or Filebox.

How is the slowness showing to you, cause I don't find this app too slow?

Re: [Pre Announce] Shortcut Stash Home Screen Widget

when i hit the folder button, it took 2-3 sec. to load the folders up.
But I just received an upgrade of maemostash and now, I don't see any seed issues.
very nice.

And yes, a lil' options menu would be nice, where to choose how the folders/websites should be opened with. a possibility to choose FileBox or FileManager respectively MicroB or Opera or Firefox Browser.

again... very useful!

//EDIT:
Oh, i just restarted after the update and now maemostash isn't in the widget menu anymore, neither on the desktop.
So I tried reinstalling... This is what I get...
Code:

Nokia-N900:/# apt-get install --reinstall maemostash

guess something went wrong... I'll manually reinstall 0.1-1

Re: [Pre Announce] Shortcut Stash Home Screen Widget

Ok, cool. I think the first time you press, folders, bookmarks or apps is the slowest. After that it should be pretty fast.

Thanks! I think I need to fix whole lot of stuff.
I don't understand why the deb from Extras-Devel is like that.
The deb which I made manually is working just fine.

I just noticed this myself when trying to install it from Extras.

I will look into this.

Hi,

actually the deb hasn't changed at all. The code is the same as in the first post of this thread.

Hi,

sorry for the inconvinience, but the package from Extras-Devel is screwed and I am currently unable to fix it. Please install Shortcut Stash from the deb -file in the first post of this thread.

I will try to fix the package, but I am currently tied up at work :(
