It should work with wifi tethering out-of-the-box. May I remind you that the same script is running on my router also.

Pls note also my new tutorial in my signature!

What did this do ?? I havent noticed single lag after this, amazing. Only when using internet my phone may lag, so i should try packet injection mentioned above :P

I don't see anything surprising there.
Overclocking makes your device unstable, period.

1. The N900 comes overclocked from Nokia. So we should expect unstability?

2. Why don't I have instability? I overclock at 900 mhz all the time. How do I get the instability?

change the value from 0 to 1

This is actually known to cause instability and frequent crashing.
If you really want your device to be smooth, disable the blur effect in the transitions.ini instead.

You 900 MHz, he 1150 MHz. That is the difference.

For me it made miracles, not a single freeze or crash after that.
Can u tell me how to edit the blurr effect via xterm, might try that aswell to get more boost :P ?

download the app call transition from fap, reboot (not sure if its needed), than open the app, and just zero everything out, hit apply, than restart desktop.

Yet everyone else seems to have super smooth N900s. Don't know whether I am just unlucky with N900s, whether others are pretending their devices are flawless or whether I have something I install that kills the device. Whatever it is this is the most frustrating device I have ever owned. My favourite phone ever due to all the customisations but still the most frustrating ever.

Change to different voltage..xlv or ulv or something...
