Re: Motorola Atrix 4G
I wish to see some day company selling descent devices but naked.
Made up of small replaceable components. Same revolution as PC has broken proprietary MAC idea for life. I'm just not getting why we, customers buying this s**t that something smaller should be locked by manufacturer. Because is so small? pff.. We all know how those devices are close to PC from tech point of view. You could put whatever you like on it. iF you need to pay for commercial OS is up to you, but open source stuff would be also available. PC came almost naturally on the market as a quick response to opponents as well. Why not on this form factor? |

if you're in the US, you won't. that's why subsidization is so popular here. |

Nice review but no mention of battery life? Or did I miss it? also, $500 for the laptop dock?!!? what a waste of money. |
Re: Motorola Atrix 4G
I thought it was $500 subsidized with the dock?

Re: Motorola Atrix 4G
The N9 is out of question.
The Xperia Play is old in hardware. The Atrix is locked out of the custom ROM game. ... anything revolutionary to come out in smartphones for power users?? (the Optimus 3D seems a gimmick) |

There is also Samsung and HTC with dual-core-CPU + 1GB RAM: http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/13/s...er-amoled-plu/ http://htc-phones.net/att-will-launc...omb-phone.html Nokia Windows phone with dual-core-CPU comes late in 2012, if MS gets WP8 ready by then and if Nokia is not in bankrupt - so maybe never. |
