CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

So - I took a black marker and drew over the two zeros in the top left of my N900, then - using a vice to grip the screen (cracked it a little) and a sledge-hammer, I lopped the keyboard. To all intents and purposes I now have an N9.

Sadly, Wazzap did not install.

I think perhaps the pen wasn't really black because I can still see the label reading "N900" at a certain light. Back to the drawing board.

Oh sorry am I annoying you?? If developing for your so beloved community annoys you then please be my guest, I need not your collaboration and if you really want me to leave (as your bye suggests) I will by all means leave you to it, but I will develop (well, not develop really but put together ;) ) what I want if you do not mind, that is why this is my handset :) By all means I wish you luck, the more developers in a community the better, I am sure you do not need any buddy for this, it seems you are progressing fast and steadily :rolleyes:

I am in the chroot (mounted through sshfs and WiFi, ever so slow :D ) but when I try to launch any Meego program I get "manager could not be created, DB is locked". I cannot install due to the problem in the quote. Anyone know a thread where they deal with this?? I am sure I was not the first one to come up with/try this, but Google does not seem to return anything useful when searching this quote. Any tips?? I would think I am missing the whole /home folder (mainly I am concerned about the user folder) and that is the problem, could it be so?? Can I obtain it from a dump of the firmware file as I did for the rootfs?? Thank you :)
