I've been using ubuntu since 2009 until now.
if ubuntu for smartphones worked on this kind of devices, I probably replace my N900 with one of those kind of devices. |

This feels like a dumb question.... but necessary.

Of course it will run GNU/Linux desktop applications (if you compile them and their dependencies for the CPU architecture - possibly ARM), but honestly, how many of those are optimized for mobile UI. |
