Re: Some news about Mitakuuluu development
I understand that an anonymous coder is developing a new native Sailfish version of Whatsapp. Does anyone know if it's going to be named Mitakuuluu and when is it likely to be available?

Re: Some news about Mitakuuluu development
Hey Coderus,
I waited for a long time for the new version of Mitakuuluu and finally installed Whatsup by Cepi! I registered without any issues and then uninstalled Mitakuuluu 2.0. Whatsup works well, but still would want to see whats the new Mitakuuluu's got in store for us! I am not a developer, so in layman terms, what is the difference between the two? Thank You! (I have made a small contribution to you, will make some more soon!) |
Re: Some news about Mitakuuluu development
Good question, meet.vino! Whatsup is working well for me for the time being but I was and still am a Mitakuuluu fan so I do wanna switch to Mitakuuluu 3.0 by the end of April regardless of it being different from Whatsup or not. But still, it's a good question: what will be the difference? :)

Re: Some news about Mitakuuluu development
Sorry, i didn't used Whatsup so much and i can be wrong, but anyway.
Differences will be available in Beta1: * end-to-end encryption for private chats * full support of broadcast lists * Sailfish native look & feel * opensource Will be available later: * Web chat (scanning QR code by phone) * Sailfish sharing menu integration |
