Well I'm off to London this weekend, so I'm going to pop into the Nokia store and see if they have any available there.
Assuming they have actually heard of it this time :p

Ordered from Amazon 9/16.

Edit: Amazon order page shows no change.

Sorry to get anyone's hopes up (especially mine). My available credit went back up by a couple hundred dollars when I checked it this morning. Whatever "happened" in my account "unhappened". Damn. :(

They didn't seem to have one available on Monday afternoon. Was in a bit of a rush, so I didn't ask the staff.

If this helps, my 770 and N800 was shipped from PFSweb/Netherlands, when I ordered them from Nokia.

Please don't start ringing up shipment centers. The N900 will ship when it's ready to. You're just going to get more annoyed because they won't know anything about it, won't tell you anything about it or will just give you wrong information.

I hope that german shops have almost the same distributor. I got the same email from computeruniverse as a other guy saying something like "probably is stock @ 27.11." so hopefully this "probably" = "not sure" and they come when they all come to germany.

well was saying to lik keep your n900 connected to the wall and such, would be a nice temporary solution for when your sitting down having a cup of coffee/tea

That's bit hard to do when the USB port used for charging is occupied with the output (of data and power) to the monitor.

That's just the normal price of the square trade warranty, I assume you can buy it separate because it has its own section, and I just purchased one separate of my N900...thought I already ordered the N900

u no i just might cnacle my order on buy.com and just order from newegg if they got it, thats one retailer i trust

Shame really - I love newegg. Would have ordered from them if the release date wasnt so far off.

maybe true but they are reliable and well they would send you email if they released anything before the release date.

like 90% of my stuff is from newegg :D

editted: ok canceled my order and am preordering from newegg, least i can rma if its screwed up :P

Yea I've heard bad stories with Buy.com and their return/exchange policy, I would only trust amazon and newegg. If by next week amazon doesnt start shipping, I will cancel and order with newegg, save me some more money.

I ordered through Nokia USA otherwise I would cancel any other order through any other group and order through Newegg. I have never had anything but bad experiences with buy.com and Amazon are simply fronting for a 3rd party.

If however Nokia USA do not ship me my farking n900 by next week I will be canceling that and newgging it all the way

NewEgg's $559 vs Amazon's $582.99? Hmm, I guess I could use those $24 to help finance my 16 GB MicroSD card. :D

SHOP BLT's incoming inventory keeps crawling up:

http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop/...er_id=!ORDERID!

they still have 10/22 listed as incoming date for some warehouses. Let's see if that number changes tomorrow.

nokia germany answered again:

"Nach unseren jetzigen, letzten Informationen ist der 30.Oktober 2009 der Start der Auslieferung bei Vorbestellungen zum N900."

(According to our current, past information is the 30th of October 2009, the start of pre-orders for delivery in N900.)

since SDHC has a 32gb available. my guess would be microSD is the only type working with the n900? i have not found places to order a sdhc 32gb card myself.

Oh dear, this is getting bad:
Quote:

Please wait. A representative will be with you shortly.
One moment please...
We apologize for the delay. A representive will be with you shortly.
Webshop Customer Help says:
Hello Alex Atkin. My name is Webshop Customer Help how can I help you?
Alex Atkin says:
I am concerned about the ever changing dispatch date for the Nokia N900.
Webshop Customer Help says:
ok
Alex Atkin says:
Over the past month you have said "EXCLUSIVE 30th OCT", "EXCLUSIVE END OCT" and now "PRE-ORDER - EXCLUSIVE DISPATCH MID NOV FROM OUR NOKIA STORES."
Webshop Customer Help says:
yes
Webshop Customer Help says:
nokia delayed it
Alex Atkin says:
then I think your wording was very poorly chosen
Alex Atkin says:
saying "EXPECTED" is good, saying "EXCLUSIVE" is rather more legally binding I would think
Webshop Customer Help says:
it is exclusive
Alex Atkin says:
How exactly is it exclusive? You are getting it first the UK? There are other places claiming to have it MID NOVEMBER too.
Webshop Customer Help says:
we will have before anyione else as we are sistered with nokia.co.uk
Alex Atkin says:
I guess that is all I can hope for at this point. Its just confusing as Nokia have never given any concrete release window other than "end of Oct in selected markets" which could mean anything.
Webshop Customer Help says:
true
Alex Atkin says:
Ah well, lets hope they are just playing it safe and still a possibility for an early launch.
Alex Atkin says:
Thankyou.
