You must be mistaken, the quality of the videos I've downloaded look fantastic on my n900.

Hey guys, heres a tip, im not sure if this has been covered already but....

1. Close any apps you have open, and just load the web browser.

2. Goto the iplayer website on your N900

3. Choose your program you want to watch

4. When you've reached the homepage of your chosen program, scroll right down to the bottom of the page, and click "Use lower bandwidth version"

5. When the page has loaded, in the right hand corner of the viewable window, you will see 3 or 4 icons representing subtitles, volume control, "pop-out" & full screen. What you need to do is click the "pop-out" button and it will load your program/show into a seperate compact console.

6. Use the menu/task key to get both iplayer screens in view, and close the old one, so that now you only have the new compact iplayer console in view.

7. Use the N900 full screen toggle icon to completely remove any borders.

8. Now you can press the iplayers full screen icon, to completely fill the screen, and now sit back and watch.

(PLEASE NOTE THIS ISNT A PERFECT FIX!!! ITS A TWEAK TO MAKE STREAMING IT MANAGABLE TO WATCH)

anyone having problems downloading iplayer videos recently? almost everyone I try download now says "try again later" even after 72 hours of being uploaded on their website...here are some examples:
