Re: can't install some apps(or update)
Hi!
I wrote my problem in other topic too, but noone has got any idea to solve it. I tried to instal "sqlite3" but I always got that "packages not authenticated" and abort install. I installed the Harmattan repository and I tried to install as a root. Any suggestions? Thanks. UPDATE: Problem solved. |

@ricardo8
i think no body going to answer you here ( maybe someone will...) because it is a N900 related thread and you are asking about a problem with your N9. Please consider creating another thread in MeeGo/Harmattan section regarding your problem. Good luck ./sifo |

Re: can't install some apps(or update)
is it with the bash? Before installing gtalk video call, i install bash thru apt-get, in order for me to work with n9qtweak.
after installing gtalk video call, it reboots, but its normal to that app, but afterr seeing ing xterm, there is a problem, and per checking ovi store, gtalk video call had a problem installing. |

if you want to re-install something you must add --reinstall
so: apt-get install bash --reinstall |

That is just one line of the output, there is more. Please post it all, to get best support here!
Always a good idea, but you need rootsh installed for the commands to succeed in X-Terminal application. Code:
sudo gainroot |

Re: can't install some apps(or update)
I'm not sure about the n900 but for the above error what I would do is:
- Delete php5-common_5.2.6-6maemo5_armel.deb from /var/cache/apt/archives/ - Do apt-get install -f after the above If it still complains about the Post-removal script, do: dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq php5-common If still the post-removal script error comes then delete the post-removal script from: /va/lib/dpkg/info/ The above is what I think should fix it up... |
Re: can't install some apps(or update)
Also try
Code:
sudo gainroot |
Re: can't install some apps(or update)
after appling all this commands again that error comes. i also delete post removal script from var/lib/dpkg/info but nothing change when i install some other application with faster application it automaticaly start to install php5-common but unable to install error comes. and unable to install or remove any application through faster application manager.i also tried to unistall through application manager but error comes that unable to unistall package is broken.
|
Re: can't install some apps(or update)
Please do not describe it... Please show the output of the commands for further support here.
