Backgammon always sucked for me, I would have random pieces disappear at pretty much any time so I stopped playing.

Yeah those bugs have always been there but you can work around them :P i'm talking about new bugs introduced with PR1.2

Solved. I'm using the Marina theme. Those themes must be updated to support PR1.2.

ok i see the update in the app manager but its askign me to create a back up which i did but its not letting me pass that and keeps on coming back to the start and the create back up screen again and again ,.im so pissed...any help.. im trying to update OTA. Anyone??

Email widget not working with Nokia Messaging, customize button for that widget is not responisve/doesnt work.

Not a bug but still there is no virtual backbutton in the browser when browsing fullscreen.

Nor my N900 (Voda product code, 203 firmware (was 205 when I first got it) , orange network) or my girlfriends O2 (uk variant product code, 203 firmware, O2 network) would let us update ota, thats with 0ver 70mb free in rootfs, NSU wasn't detecting the update so I just flashed them both over.

BTW flasher 3.5 works fine with win7, don't know why everyone's badgering on about it not working.

Did anyone notice that when you turn off the n900 it doesn't show the nokia logo.

I am having problems with 'My Nokia' under settingsI on the Nokia N900!! Each time I select it i get this message 'Internal error. Application settings closed'!!! Anyone with this problem after the 1.2 firmware update?

The other issue i noted is with the Application Manager. I can no longer search for applications!!! There is no search option on the drop down!! How are we supposed to find an application quickly for download?

Please help me out here!!

You're right, it doesn't, nor do all the desktop aps mash together on to one screen prior to shutdown

try ctrl + backspace, it should take you to your open apps and will also dismiss the done dialogue

Customizing the menu is working just fine on my N900.

Also, it's 3 times as fast. There's no smushing icons together, no de-skinning of themed controls, etc.

the predictive text on the virtual keyboard comes up but i can't apply the word that came up. is this because i flashed my n900? should i have waited for today to do over the air update? and also after the update, my n900 started to over heat.

For some reason the font in Micro B seems to have gotten smaller in pr 1.2 which makes clickings things some what a bit challenging

Set the font size to larger through the browser settings.

I seriously doubt it's changed though, Geko hasn't changed at all.

Backgammon, geez, how old are you...80?!

But no..it only lags when someone IMs me and it glitches just like all other games do.

BTW I flashed with 203 UK variant using flasher 3.5 on win7 but didn't bother with the eMMC.

Thanks for the idea but I have just tried that and I am still getting the same problem. Move the menu around and then press done. Everything goes back to the same way it was. All the stuff that used to be in the first menu has been pushed below all the items from the 'more' menu. Newly installed apps seem to insert themselves in alphabetical order in amongst the items that would have been in the 'more' menu. I don't know how the menus behave on phones that don't have this issue.

Sorry, I don't have a suggestion how to get it working again. It works here.

But I have to report my HBH-DS205 has now a bug. As soon as I press the play/pause button the Headset isn't playing any audio anymore. The Play/Pause button still works. :mad:

i updated my N900 using the nokia update software
and downloaded 163.6MBs out of the 190MBs
and suddenly the PC shows me that update failed and asks to disconnect the phone from the PC
i rebooted my phone and the new software is working except for my SIM card
as whenever i boot my phone it says that telephony services are not availble
and when i connect my phone to reupdate it. It says that the phone is not supported by the PC suite
HELP!!

Did anybody else notice that using the FM Transmitter, instead of showing the artist and song title in the RDS tag (on the car radio), it only shows "Nokia"?

PR 1.1.1 used to be able to show both artist and song title, and also the album name!
I'd love to have that feature back!
