this really looks fantastic and works great. thank you for the work so far.

As previously stated, the only constructive critisism would be the battery icon needs some work.

Thanks again

update for both theme and icons :D
Changelog when you update.
Upload it now should take some min do dont hurry wait!;)

And the missing mediplayer icons are not missing that is the inbuilt mediaplyer are fu**** up. With OMP it really works great:)
If you dont have OMP you need to copy the the 164x164 icons from /usr/share/icons/mango/164x164/hildon folder to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/164x164/hildon and restart and it should work.
PS:Make a backup first of hicolor icons:D

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

Tnx for the suggestion Robin, I've installed OMP and it looks very good. It's a good player too, despite the lack of a "resize to full screen" option in the video player :)

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

@robin92 thankyou so much man! Im not using OMP, so i changed the icons manually and they are great!!
just 2 more things:
1 - The icon under the signal bars are not good to see (2.5, 3G, 3.5G). Too small.
2 - you did not made the battery colors to change progressively? Mine is all green!

just tips!

Thankyou one more time!

Hi and thanks for this theme, but I have a small problem with it:
when using qalculate, the input is white letters on white background.
Any idea how to solve this?

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

thanks, now is even better than before.

i would suggest you to edit your first post and to put there the image that u have around here with the icons, and the Open media player thing that i saw a few posts before.

PS: maybe i am a little crazy and i am obsessed, but i think u have to change again the battery and phone signal icons. let them like they are, but the green part change it in white.

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

hi robin! you're one very enthusiastic designer! thanks for accommodating all our requests. :)
i actually have two black-and-white icons installed on my n900, mango and awoken. i want to use your icons for my current desktop but the battery icon and the signal indicators are too bright for my taste... i would personally prefer a purely black-and-white design or a less intense color for the battery indicator (see the battery indicator from awoken desktop). maybe you could remove the color from the signal indicator and use awoken's battery?

Robin, I'm workin on a loopable background to match your theme, but i'm not satisfied, is quite hard to do something that could be so minimalistic without resulting annoying. I wont give up, stay tuned :)

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

Btw, Robin, as you can see my desktops looks really clean also with black background :)

The only one that have some problem is the desktop n°3. As you can see the inbox (mail) widget has a grey background that doesn't match the overall style. Is it possible to do something to turn it into black?
And for completeness, is it possible to change the day number shown in the calendar widget into something more attractive? I think it could be simply a white number on black background, not so complicated but surely more related to the overall style of the phone ^^

Re: Mango iconset and theme (aka win7)

someone have any idea how to make the icons bigger?
meaning that i want to have 2 icons on a row, not three. ( i like them bigger :) )
i see an option in theme customizer to increase the dimmensions of ichons, but it is disabled.

in any case, if increasing the size of icons it is possible ( i will do more research around ), i am thinking to a theme like in WP7.
not the colors, and other stuff, just the size of icons. also, instead of circles around, some squares. the rest of icon should remain black and white.
i think it will be more user friendly, even nicer than the latest nokia phones :)

PS: i hope someone undestand my handwriting. :)

Thedarkus, i use one imageset called Digital Nature 3 ( black with some white courve lines ). it is nicer than a totally black background and it not have too much white on it to change the theme feeling. just for inspiration, and it is true that desktops have no link between each other.

i see an option in theme customizer to increase the dimmensions of ichons, but it is disabled.

regarding this issue, i found a widget called "extshortcut", wich allow me to put on desktop some kind of shortcut to an application or web, to put an image as icon, to give what dimension i want to image and to put a name under.
exactly what i was looking for with one problem: if u press it it will go directly to application, u will not be able to scroll to other screens...

i will do more research on this. :)

if u want request, there is one from me :)
in file manager, when u press on one file, the pop up menu ( like in right click on mouse ) don't change colour, or something that could show u what u are about to select.
so other selections thru the teme change color in gray, but here nothing. :)
