Actually, this 'new' behavior is the same in PR1.2 and lower. My other N9 is still in PR1.2. No change....

The bug of dictionary not remembering words added by user after reboot is still present. Pr 1.2 introduced this n nobody had reported this coz it was the time when they closed the bug tracker but was mentioned on the developer page comments and had been acknowledged. Pretty annoying that it always clears all the word i add to dictionary after reboot.

In any case, the Feed app has been improved!
It no longer changes to the next news, if you get a little up and down scrolling. Awsome!

I can't retweet or upload photos when I'm connected to the internet with mobile data. Have you tried doing it over wifi instead? Wifi works for me.

When you bring down further options while creating a new email (like, when you want to attach something), the animation is more refined. :) A subtle touch, but nice to look at. :)

I am not sure if it is just me but I think that it is new behaviour to show the top bar (with signal reception, carrier name, profile notifications etc) on the locked screen with the wallpaper.. ? I think until now only time/date and email notifications on the bottom were visible. Has anybody else notice that?

I experience the same thing. Mine was there in pr1.2 and after a clean flash it is no longer there at least on the lockscreen. It actually is gives it rather cleaner look.

The pictures lauching from gallery now it sem has ben reduced zoom at 2x, before was posible zooming more than that...4x i guess.

Still there when I comment on a facebook item on my feeds screen it disappears from my feeds screen. Actually all items from that source will disappear from my feeds screen.
Also since it (the N9 fb app) limits me greatly on the length of my comment I often have to divide my comment into multiple comments and the fb app will not show the 2nd comment after I type it out and "send" it forcing me to close it and try to find the item on my feeds screen again but ooops I forgot, once I comment on an item all items from that source get deleted from my feeds screen.

launching of core apps is faster now...i've been using it for 24 hours now and this is the main difference...previously this speed boost could only be realised using fastern9 but now you dont need fastern9 to see core apps launch fast...

Regression on APIs:

The PR 1.3 crippled the QmSystem module. At least the QmSystemState::set does not work anymore.

Must just be some kind of fluke....

All the people claiming "same as PR1.2" for everything raised.
I hope you're not going on memory alone & actually have a 2nd N9 with PR1.2?
Otherwise we need peeps still with PR1.2 to verify...
Relying on memory alone is simply too flawed....

my apologies. The issue was resolved. Somehow it has magically reappeared when i turn the LPS ON/OFF. Fluke it was.

twitter application now shows when I recieve a retweet in tha Mentions tab. This is new and I missed it alot :-)

Facebook app now handles youtube video thumbnail correclly.
PR1.2 : Pressing on you tube thumbnail will launch stock Video Player with only sound available, no video.
PR1.3 : Pressing on youtube thumbnail will launch albeit different ui Video Player, which stream the video and audio perfectly.

Just noticed that when connected to my BH-504 headset I no longer have that headset icon in the statusbar.

In PR 1.2 I had it but not anymore.

Well this is not one hallelujah discovery but yesterday I noticed a different error message when trying to connect to my local WiFi network. Instead of just network error it also reported that it was unable to get a DHCP address from the server. I'm almost certain I have never seen the DHCP message before.

This is not an error caused by the phone. It is just in the limit of my routers range so signal is pretty weak at that spot in my house.

Dictionary autocorrect now doesn't change words (only tested in Portuguese European) to include their respective accents.

Example:

PR 1.2
Typed: ja
Autocorrection: já

PR 1.3
Typed: ja
Autocorrection: na (searches for adjacent word)

Other words that don't autocorrect:
nao > não
so > só
ha > há
bebedo > bêbedo
cao > cão

However, some words do autocorrect:
amanha > amanhã

Note: It is not possible to fix this issue as far as I've tried. Extremely annoying as you have to teach the non-accented form to the dictionary and it starts autocorrecting to the non-accented form - which is incorrect. Worth downgrading back to PR1.2 to be honest.

All the words exemplified do not mean anything in their non-accented forms.

Alarm gets muted if device lock is enabled seems to be fixed.

Resolution of clock on stand by screen is bigger with PR 1.3.It was using less pixel on PR 1.2 but now it's like a normal text.

I think that was for decreasing battery usage.But it seems MeeGo team decided to change it because it's not a big consumer.

I had the same problem, so I removed Billboard and MeeCast Applet and then, as root:

after a reboot, everything was fine again.

We haven't receive the PR1.3 update yet here in the Philippines. I hope it'll come out as soon as possible cause I really love my N9 and I want it to be responsive (or even more responsive).

By the way, I re-flashed my N9 (pr1.2) using comprehensive method, it became super responsive after reboot. just like when I first bought it. (only Home Screen Setting app is installed to enable the landscape mode). Transition from portrait to landscape is super fast just like when you are in the Message app/screen.

After installing several apps (maybe 10 or 15, camera app, games, ect) it became laggy again. So I've decided to install fastern9 but it's still the same. Even after reboot, still the same. I haven't tried resetting it because I'm still waiting for the PR1.3 to be available here in our country.

I hope it completely resolve the laggy issue. That's the only problem I have right now.

If Nokia still unable resolve it before the end this year, I will switch to either WP7 or Androind 4.1 Jelly Bean which both reportedly ultra responsive.
