Odd. I don't have that issue. Are you sure time is set to 12 hour in the time settings?
Also, are you on 0.0.2?

Unzip this as root to /usr/share/themes/

I don't know if it will work, I just dumped the icons in a folder and added the file structure.

Hi - Thank you for this theme. Makes my N9 look really nice.

I notice the default is green theme, so went about downloading the color variants from the link. However, while extracting it using filebox, it asks for a ZIP file password, and without one, says I don't have the permission to extract. Tried a few times, same result.

If there is a password, can you pls provide as I prefer the blue theme? thanks.

On pc it is extracted without any password or problem. On filebox are you sure you put the archive in MyDocs folder. Because without using fileboxRoot you will not be able to extract outside of MyDocs.

Thanks Herdem09. No, I downloaded directly on N9 and tried to extract into usr/share/themes/Full iOS7 theme/ per instructions, not the mydocs folder. I am not tech savvy, but have gotten so far following instructions and reading through the first 20 pages.. On reading your note, I just tried extracting into mydocs which works (showed 2 new folders post extraction) but was not able to move it into theme folder. Should I try anything els? Appreciate your help.

Just redownload the file, that happens when the file gets corrupted, it happens a bit.

With the firebox root thing, it is fine to keep the file in MyDocs, although you can't extract inside mydocs, which is fine because it is extracted into the theme folder.

Fun fact, the green was actually a mistake, I copied the theme from my theme folder and had green patched. Now I think each release will have a different colour just to make things interesting :D

Yes, I read about the green fact in one of your earlier responses... Wish the mistake were blue thought! Perhaps in the next version...

Now, I am a little confused, I re downloaded per your advice, and it is extracted in MyDocs folder, not into theme folder. Given that, how do I change to blue?

Put your zip file anywhere you want, open firebox root, go to the zip file, click on it, click extract, then go back until you get to the / directory, go to usr, then share, then themes, then Full iOS7 theme, then extract the file in that folder.

Thanks again. Think my problem is something to do with permissions to place something into usr/.../ios7... Folder... May be system restriction or something. Sorry, I am not tech savvy but have followed instructions to get to this stage.. Even opened terminal and got root access. And then no idea how to proceed on terminal to copy/paste into themes folder., the filebox appln is able to place into mydocs folder only I think... Thanks for your help again,

I don't have firebox root... Nothin exist in App Store. May be it's through another method?

Ah if you don't have firebox root that is the issue :p
You need the root permissions that firebox root has to be able to edit the themes folder.

Do you have normal filebox installed?

You need to use a tweak from N9 quick tweak.
If I said firebox at all, I meant filebox. Autocorrect keeps changing things.
Download N9QT and then use tweak H 2. This will install a shortcut that lets you start filebox in root. Default password is rootme

I shall work with N9QT you suggested a bit more. Seems very good app although a little scary for someone like me with no tech skills. hmm.....If only I can get a period sign when I double space as in an iPhone, that'll make life so much easier. May be there is a tweak for that already...

Hello again - Guess, my N9's happy state lasted only a day or so. Suddenly, it stopped turning on, similar to the thread here (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=85954), although mine just shows Nokia logo, and then darkness. Press power again, Nokia logo with vibration happens, and then darkness. I am searching for a potential fix as we speak, just thought I'll raise here in case someone knows a fix here. Many thanks...

Yes, I followed everything. Fonts installed first before applying theme. Not much except for H 2, and prior to that K I think.

to see if I can survive without flashing, or worst case flash.

Have learnt so much these last few days, amazing really. Worst case, I hope flash will work as my phone is stuck with a wrench icon. It has high battery prior to this problem, so not sure that's the cause. Will keep posted.

At least that way, I'll flash and reinstall ios7 and N9QT, and take it from there. Hoping really...

Hmm. It doesn't sound like a theme issue as such if its just the stock without modifications. 3100 people have installed it, 2 have had issues afterwards :p

Thanks, Yes, it worked just fine for more than 24 hours, so something else must have caused it. It started with the phone app not working which made me turn off and on... And it never booted back.

Just finished downloading and flashing now. Did not disable R&D mode prior to starting flash. Should I?

Great, thanks. I manage to rescue it, took a lot of effort though. Had to reinstall everyhtng from scratch but most of my user data was kept. At least, phone is back!

One issue - I have a dark background on home/apps launcher etc... Any idea how to fix?

Thanks mate. I had that app before but uninstalled as it was supposed to clash with N9QT. Now I cant even download anything from App store. The store was playing up yday all day, and now again!

Is there any other alternative? I see a tweak in N9QT, however, it is asking for specific picture dimensions which I dont know how to get.

Good news again! Managed to get everything working again... not in one but in two phones in the family today! Fingers crossed, they stay the same way... Thanks again.

In response to your questions, it is Nokia store that is playing up - gives download errors. Sent help an email, but no response yet. Then it started to work again, so downloaded a few critical apps to achieve iOS7.


DJ - yes, it is your theme that is not showing background, at least on my phone, as there is no other theme installed on mine.

Got N9QT to help with background, having uninstalled homescreen. Hopefully this will work well.

After all this, need to spend a bit of time using the device now. Shall keep posted..

If only I can get a period followed by space for a double space stroke like in iphone and android... search continues..

Fair enough. Are you sure you downloaded the latest version? The first version doesn't have working backgrounds. All the backgrounds are available from the drop box link and they are the right size already :)

Yes, it was version 0.0.2. It starts with green theme, and then I apply the blue colour variant.

May be, it conflicted with something in our phones, as I note your mention about how background should be working in v0.0.2 in the change log.

Or may be, the background is fine in the green theme on install, but goes blank on overlaying blue variant? I can't say 100%, as in my recent install attempts after the first/second time, I go straight to blue variant...

So the background is only black on the blue variant? I will package the blue theme as a deb for you and pm it to you. It will also be v0.2.2 ;)

Hi again - I have been on this theme for a few days now, and so far so good. Really like it, DJJonosound...

Just wondering if it s possible to have a slightly darker background on keyboard so it is not transparent over the working screen. For example, you are on a website and want to search for Something, the keyboard pops up but is transparent over the existing website making it a little hard to type... More so for me as I see keyboard to type.. Is there something I can do to achieve it as a personal preference? Thanks and Enjoy your weekend...
