Re: Overclock the N900?

i put the zImage in the same folder as the flasher3.5.exe
Put phone to update mode (phone off, Press and hold U plug in usb cable) then run

flasher-3.5 -k zImage -f -R

zImage being the enitre name of your zImage

e.g.
flasher-3.5 -k zImage-900mhz -f -R

look though this entire thread before asking again.... only fun helping out a certain amount of times. It has been explained several times. Also do it only if you accept you can bugger up your phone!!

Did you really put the phone in update mode?

as mentioned before:

Put phone to update mode (phone off, Press and hold "U" & plug in usb cable) then run

sajman mine says: No such file or directory:(

I already put the file in same folder as flasher.

and wrote like you said in cmd.

It worked yesterday with 900 mhz. But today i want try the 930 mhz file:(

EDIT: 900mhz file works in cmd to flash, but not the 930mhz file.

Can someone upload your 930mhz file??

The firmware (.bin) file is required too right?

Read from some sites, flashing will remove all apps installed, apps catalog, settings, etc. But here, I read someone mentioned all are intact?

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks!
