Your post or his post?

He disputes as he has experience with it but you defend something that you have developed zilch for and wouldn't be able to know its worthiness if it didn't come with the M$ logo on it...

I merely matched Speccs assertion that was presented with a complete lack of corroborative evidence with an equivalent and opposite position.

Completely unsurprisingly Specc then resorted to juvenile name calling and was also incorrect in claiming that my response was not a dispute.

It was.

oh, that and also that I was right.

Bla bla bla. When it sounds like a troll, smells like a troll, looks like a troll - it definitely is a troll. If I am a troll (or not) has nothing to do with it.

Meego was not ready but WP was

FACTS stands: Nokia is doomed...

I also remember people claiming that Windows Phone 7 will change everything because it was a whole new OS that has nothing to do with Windows Mobile 6.x (ironically, it was later proven to be directly related with only portions rewritten)... aaaaand it failed as it was smite to the ground.

Then Mango (Windows Phone 7.5), as you correctly pointed out, was supposed to be this vast improvement that will finally solidify Windows Phone as a real competitor to Android and Apple. That also failed, as it was stricken down to the ground.

And now the same people are arguing that Windows Phone 8 will completely change the game yet again (how often can you "change the game", before change is actually no longer a change and has lost its meaning?) and, as far as I can tell, it appears to that it too will fail as it gets thrown to the ground.

Well, Tomi Ahonen claims in his blogs that "textbook definition of insanity is doing the same thing all over again and expecting different results"

I cannot be sure if this is correct, mainly he uses this argument to point out that Elop's strategy is not very rational but this is exactly the thing that comes to mind when looking at the WP strategy :D
