Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Whatsup on Jolla
oh, we are lucky that someone else have taken the place of Cepiperez. ;) :D
i dont know who is he,but thanks to the forrestcat, the brave.. if someone after testing it can explain changes i will be grateful. i have official whatsapp for now! |
Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Whatsup on Jolla
Unfortunately I have to take back my "universal work around". The tested Galaxy S4 can still sends messages and media just fine. I lately tested to send a message from a Galaxy S5 with the same official WhatsApp version... same issues. Also messages from an IPhone 4s with an even older WhatsApp cant be recived. Maybe you have to send a message to every single contact in "symbian-mode", to completely "unencrypt" your chats... Sorry guys

Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Whatsup on Jolla
Thanks a lot to the anonymous programmer. 0.2-1 is working well with Sailfish OS 1.1.9.28 :)

Great work by Coderus. :) The problem with v1.7 was the battery drain and the cache. |
Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Whatsup on Jolla
I just tested Andoid WA a few days ago and I really hate that ugly android interface and everything. :D Also android notifications don't appear on lock screen and can't bling LED.
Edit: oh yes Android notifications by coderus may be working but the problem is memory usage |

Oh yes, the ugly interface... I think Android Apps are okay, but i prefer Sailfish Apps. All in the same look and feel. Thats the point for me. |
