I started a request for prices for 50,100,200 and 500 pcs based on the mock up, lets see if they can do it for a reasonable price.
Material would be my not so favoured "Brotect AirGlass", Vikuiti DQCT130 or Savvies SU75.

I think the later two are not glass but foils.

Mate finish Bedifol foil is very good. i have it on my Jolla Tablet and on my RaspberryPi 7" Touch-Display. it is one of the best, which i have seen. Application was on both displays absolutly trouble- and bubble-free. Would be cool to have the same for our Jolla C

Won't they get in trouble for not having warranty? Is it even legal?

yes its legal, because they don't sell you a product. they sell you a developer program access and Jolla C is part of this program.

Absolutely legal....

Damn, people. You're too law abiding.
You pay money, you get a phone. That's it. Do whatever you like with it.

It was not Bedifol GmbH, it was: www.schutzfolien24.de

turns out, Bedifol = schutzfolien24.de ;)
The contact i had phoned with yesterday missunderstood my request or i misunderstood his answer, anyway, they can customize those Brotect AirGlass.

They propose to send in a Jolla C to them for correct measurement.
And it sounds like they would sell them to normal conditions and prices, no group buy necessary.
So i will get back to the matter as soon as i have correct measures or a Jolla C at hand.

Don't use it as a remote detonator on a bomb or film child porn.

If you search for Jolla C at Amazon or ebay you will find a lot of screen Protectors, which are for "Jolla C"
Maybe they are really so quick, or the seller want to push his items and mark Jolla Screen Protectors as Jolla C ones.... :-)

Exactly. It is called "buying". What Jolla says you are not doing. Except that you are.

Re: Jolla C

Call to all Jolla C owners for your estimate.

1. Are you completely satisfied with the feel of the "not to be removed" protective film?
We already heard it is a perfect fit and even hard to notice, but can you imagine a higer quality screen protector (harder, less sticky, more clear, glare reduced, matte, whatever) could raise the experience and make sense in any way?

2. Would you buy a higher quality Protector for ~10-20€?

If there is actually a need (from community estimate), i would sent my C to Bedifol for some days so they can offer us an alternative.

Any idea if we as a community can agree which material we prefer or is this to much of a personal taste matter? They offer:

Vikuiti ADQC27 reduced reflection
Vikuiti DQCT130 "crystal clear"
Vikuiti DQCM30 "mate"
Vikuiti GXN800 "privacy" 30° viewangle
Brotect AirGlass "extra Hard"
Brotect HD clear
Brotect mate
Savvies SU75

Errrm, what do you think where Intex got his foils that are already applied?!? :)
Sure there are some fitting foils on the market already, but chances are high you buy the same thing that is already applied imho. Maybe a quality improvement is possible.
