an original file or a copy of the original file (not cracked or modified)?

is it possible to quit the programm with a key press?

i installedangrybirds-mido.fayad.sh libsdlpre.so already exists in /opt/preenv/lib/libsdlpre.so

but i cant zoom why?

Usually they are repackaged from binaries extracted from a real Pre.

i installedangry birds rio and cant zoom out so installed angrybirds-mido.fayad.sh and copy libsdlpre.so /opt/preenv/lib/
but i still cant zoom why?

I doubt somebody will reply to you. Those games are not working yet, only the creator of Preenv could answer to U.

One new game runs, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit for the TouchPad. It needs verdana.ttf in /opt/usr/share/fonts, then it tries to set resolution to 1024x768, but it does run!

there are very much games that could run.
and with the hp touchpad released we could even have hd games on the n900. (higher resolution).

it just needs work.

When Javispedro decides to release a new version, you'll probably read about it in the Preenv release thread.

Until that time, you'll just have to be patient and be thankful for all the time and effort he's already put into it. Unless you can contribute by doing some coding....?

Making endless posts about it won't change anything..

right look at the compatibility list and look how much work has been done to get the games working.
Im following the thread from a long time ago.
And if you cant wait to play those games install nitdroid and play them.

anyway did u able to rescale down 800x480,
nice info touchpad game works
edit : the game run on screen rotation number2 , it scale down to 800x480 automatic, problem cant move the circle option,
anyone can solve this

edit 2nd time : add image , to know everyone how to swipe this option

I can get hot pursuit to rotate and scale properly, it needs the virtual shadow size set to 1024x768 instead of Pre sizes. The swipe menu then works and it goes into the game, but the accelerometer doesn't work properly and many textures are all white.

Well I was expecting the get a Pre3 some day and continue work from there, but looking at the recent developments...

Maybe it's time to start iEnv ;)

I did actually start with such a project, long ago, but with ~5000 lines of code* all I could do was to run a "Hello World"-style app. Which means that while possible, it requires an insane amount of work that I cannot even dream to find the time for.

So no, no teasing -- this will never come from me.

* Mach-O loader, Obj-C runtime, implementation of NSObject and NSString.

That's a project that has nothing to do with Preenv though -- you'd end up not reusing much of it.

They probably already run as is. And if they don't they can usually be rebuilt and they do. I've never understood what's the difficulty in getting OpenPandora games working on the N900. If I consider the Pre1 and the N900 "similar", the OpenPandora is basically a N900 without cellphone.

I face problems with UNO.
I format my phone 2 weeks ago and uno seems to have save problems. When I start and make a profile I close the game and reopen it and starts ok ( or seems ok as the score card show letters not numbers) and if I close and reopen it close automatically. The only way to open it again I have to delete the setting.sav, but the progress is gone.
Has anyone has the same problem and solve tha problem?

I check need for speed hot pursuit for touchpad. I have the same results as jflat. I don't know if the graphics problem is because the n900 doesn't support some kind of texture that touchpad support (newer graphic chip). Also accelerometer is stick to the right ( always steer to the right), maybe the touchpad accelerometer works different than palm pre.
i will report if something new happened :)
