Thank god they didn't. Look what happened to acer.

Acer didn't try to discuss things, they just tried to flout the OHA agreements w/o any prior discussions.

Yeah that's well known, but in one of his recent interviews Stefano(?) intimated that they didn't even "try" to have discussions with them.
They just ruled-it-out automatically, that seems wildly irresponsible to me...

Yes, that's my point, and it didn't sound good. While Google have their faults, they aren't completely unreasonable. I personally don't care about it though, I'm not going to use any of that closed Android stuff.

I already linked to that post in my last post, but I focused on the comments.
One can just scroll up from the comments to see what you've posted...

I just want everything in one place (TMO).
I'm getting dizzy looking in twitter, TMO and all the web. ;)

Yeah it's something like that, I guess...

The cluelessness there esp. in the comments (as per usual) is epic...

...and I think it's a good strategy even if I will not use that stuff.

I really just hope that developer start to make native professional sailfishos apps that will replace most of android apps.

It's funny when the guy makes an attempt to explain what's wrong with the UX, and he can't. I guess you always get that feeling when you try something new, especially when you can't work it out straight away "this is wrong because I'm not smart enough to pull it out" kind of thing.

To go back to the topic, we need more videos :-D

I am not suprised how fast reporters/testers has forgotten how buggy the first IPhone and Android devices was...

I also remember my first Android and my fellow students said to me: "It will never succes" at that time most people did have Symbian or Iphone....

So lets see what happens in the future.

Anyway I have trully respect for Jolla as company and I hope they survive and grow bigger coming years.
