Perhaps immediate, intensive Nokia psychotherapy could be of some assistance?

Thank you moja.

I've promoted 3.7 up to Extras so at least there is a working version in Extras now for users. It still has the create station problem but that's minor compared to not working at all.

I'll promote 3.9 to testing but I won't be pushing for the votes on that one since I am redoing a ton of code for 4.0. If it gets the votes great, I'll promote it, but if not meh - I'll push for 4.0 when I finally get it published.

Thanks for all your hard work on this app, only a small glich I get sometimes when I pause a song for 10 to 15 minutes it won't restart I have to skip ahead to start using it again.
Is it possible to get song title and artist through the RDS fm transmitter?
thanks again!

I don't think the API on the FM Transmitter is documented either.. so if someone can show me how I'd love to.

I know there's a problem with scrobbling to like Last.FM because the scrobbler apps use the metadata/id3 tags of the mp3 to scrobble.. and there is zero information in the stream from Pandora. The Artist and Album come separately but not part of the MP3.

So if the FM transmitter works the same way, probably not :(.

I believe the stream gets disconnected after just a couple of minutes, so there really isn't a way to resume it. Don't pause for that long, I guess. :(

I was actually wondering about this as well, I almost tried to fix it sometime last year -- if you can find the source for the RDS home applet, I think it can send whatever data it wants, you can send the text "I'M WATCHING YOU" if you wanted to neighboring cars if the signal was strong enough. Just need to use whatever API is available for it. :P

Code:

echo -n IM WATCHING YOU > /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-2/2-0063/rds_radio_text

That would be a fun application to create: just a text box with a "send" button to transmit text.
