I have an image in my head. An apartment/house full of 1000 other halfs, parts everywhere and I like it. But when I think of assemble all of them I think it would be better if dirk left for some exclusive island and wasted all of the money in a week on something useless :D

If everyone is okay with this, no biggie

Yeah, I think Kickstarter needs an update now :D

Does injection molding enable even thinner TOHKBD?

Btw, I still would have liked a dark brown TOH, are all the colours set in stone or can there be changes? Just wonderin' :)

thickness limit has been reached, magnets are now determining minimum thickness. if we go thinner, connection will be weaker -> not going to happen

colours are not determined by us, this is just all that is possible

Same for me! :)

I wonder how many orders are needed to start considering injection molding achievable. Now that's what is really exciting to me, that would result in a really high-end finish for the keyboard.

I second Droll as I'd love *not* to have a wooden back, but on the other hand I'm the one who said on KS that no changes in design should be made at this point, to avoid any delays and extra work. :D Plus if I remember correctly, Lastucase is the best robustness/thickness ratio you could achieve for this part, right Dirk?

Congratulations anyway, I did not expect such a quick success. I wonder how many of the 600 pledges are current users and how many are new on the boat.

Could you make a high-res video showing the difference between the materials? I think I will opt for the black polished one, but I am afraid it might be "too polished" like piano lacquer? Seeing the "alumide" material in a video would also be interesting.

check the solartoh of funkyotherhalf.com, this has pictures of exactly the colours and is made with the same base file.

Question about the 140€/custom colour option before I pull the trigger.

Is it possible to have the OH-part and the KB-part in different colours? For example, blue OH and white keyboard.

YES! :D

Preferences will be asked after the campaing ends, so you have some time to decide.
