pickle managed to port the opengl es plugin of psx4m to pandora for pcsx-rearmed and it works.... thats good news right?

already downloaded latest sources .... in fact eq publish his version of emu for Symbian, and we see that no real performance increase with 3d accelerator based GL ES or CPU based GL ES. but it can be good for porting Notaz pcsx to Maemo cuz i have troubles with their SPU and GPU

What I do not understand - as a noob - how the N900 can emulate ( to a degree anyway ) the Playstation, but Paperboy for example on MAME from 1984 runs like a piece of crap - even when over clocked???

fixed gles version,
adws - arrows uhjk - 4 standart buttons cv - start\select r - exit on my device gles version is 100% fail : from 10 tested games and rips i get 7 - segmentation fault 2 - SGX Out of mem event 1 - working slower than previous GPU (and yeah, graphics is lagging more) look's like Notaz have the same results : "Did I mention that GLES plugin is buggy and unstable? (or maybe it's because SGX driver, who knows). Just use the soft plugins." so my decision is to get latest Notaz sources and merge it with our GPU and SPU ... |

so far THPS4 is the only game that worked at gles-gpu better that previous one (less graphical glitches)

there is no risk. with gles-gpu maemo only freeze one window, pandora hang at all (reboot needed) as i know

Radicalz38: i think yes. GL ES is used only to display image, but image is calculates on cpu (but it can be rom dependable)

i fixed one of segfaults (tested at NFS3HP) , NFS3 have very nicer graphic (compare to our old GPU plugin)

update, NFS3 with nice graphics on stock cpu(600mhz)
waiting a lot of reports of others games. games with "SGX Out of mem event" messages is highly demanded to test what's going wrong. Segfault and others errors reports is needed too ;-) how to install: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=2449 while i can't find any workaround for tekken 3 (memory error on SGX) psx4m will be at my server(i mean no repository publish will be made) |

oh my gaaawd!! i got it working haha So far just tried ridge racer and it looks a LOT better with no errors and seems to run nice even tho im at stock 600mhz as i just installed android recently :D EXCELLENT WORK bona ill try a few more games before i head home :D

ok quick update
tried castlevania symphony of night and although its slow and sound stutters again looks LOTS better and again im running stock...with overclock i think it will be a lot smoother however tried rage racer driver and ace combat 3 and none of them loaded :( worse part is that when i closed down the window they still ran in the background crippling my phone meaning have to reboot. |

try to run psx4m from x-term:
1) if any error will be you can say it to us 2) you can use ctrl+c if it freeze |

Wow I'm impressed!
What have I tested: Crash Bandicoot 3 - working, cycle multi 2, no frameski[ and it's full speed(a little sound glitch but whateva) Diablo 1 - graphical glitches(black squares everywhere), a little slopy but good too. Baldur's Gate - graphic is so glitched it's unplayable Final Fantasy 8 - doesn't work. It just stays in black screen |

no frameskip??? there is no option for frameskip. i see only something like my autoframeskip at 60fps but not sure about it workable(cuz fps counter can't be shown) |
