They told me on Friday that it would be sent Monday and I would receive it Tuesday:rolleyes: I just hope thats true, otherwise I will be giving them some serious s**t on the phone (providing I can get through:rolleyes:)

Yep as much as it sucks thats all we can do right now. I'm hoping that tomorrow they'll be a knock at the door and it'll be here but only time will tell :(

Just thought, do I remember reading somewhere that delieveries to the "extremities" of the UK, e.g Cornwall (where I am now) and north scotland can take upto two days to be delivered or am I i thinking of another company/I dreamt it ? :P

me too, a friend of min received his on saturday from the depot, having missed the post on friday due to work, and he ordered his at least a week after me.

what has realy got me angry is the lack of infomation that we have recieved as a customer "it might be this week, might be next week, oh no another delay will be due in 2 weeks" and what have nokia/MPD got to show for it ?.................. imo everyone should get an e-mail with some sort of a kind jesture but i think there is more of a chance of the pope appearing on "come dine with me"

Too right. I don't get how people can possibly think its unreasonable for me to moan when I ordered 26th September and people who ordered a month after me got theirs already and some with free shipping too it seems.

hi Bidybag, i'm almost staying at home waiting for the postman. However the consensus on this thread seems to be that it doesn't come with the normal mail but with a red van.
Let's hope it comes soon, I'll have to head to work at 1pm.

Heres a response I received from Karl Borges after my previous email - interestingly he seems to think that Steve from Guildford is not an MPD employee - could it be a bad case of trolling? Anyway, I'm content to at least have a reply, and hopefully my phone this week....

Thanks for taking the time to send me this email. I believe we’re finally on top of N900 dispatches and all N900’s will be shipped before the end of this week. My intention is to give the possible service, and we are currently reviewing our systems and processes (those under our control as you say), in order that we do so next time around.

Sorry to have let you down on this occasion and I will take a look at the forum as suggested. There has been a lot of forum misinformation feeding misinformation. One particular comment I read was reported to have come from a member of staff we employ in Guildford Nokia store, who does not exist!

Guys, a quick question.

I still get "Sim registration failed" on my Voda SIM card! Its been 48 hours since I got the phone, and Im worried. I want to keep my number.

Anyone who transferred their number got it registered yet with the Voda sim card?
