i installed the camera ui 2 for recording hd videos. but how do u record? just like normal video recording with the default camera will do? if i use the 720p deb application. it records but no screen(only xterminal window) and also o sound. help

You have to install cameraui2 and the other 2 files contained in package to be able to record in hd. After installation (with x-term) u can change in the settings to hd recording :)

Bad, very bad...

I got responce from Nokia, that gstreamer0.10-dsp is closed in harmattan :-(

How is that possible, this is clear LGPL violation?!? Even Felipe Contreras wrote that it is licensed under LGPL on the bugtracker. WTF?

EDIT:

Pali, why don't you send them a link to the bug on Harmattan bugtracker with Felipe's statement.

I wouldn't believe that, .deb comes with copyright file where it is clearly stated that it is under LGPL. Most probably someone has overslept that and gave the answer just because the source is not in harmattan SDK.

Maybe it's time to become bad boys and report LGPL violation? I can imagine those newspapers headlines ;)

Seriously though, there is no such thing as "changing mind" about (LGPL) license, so, even if they try to do it on purpose (which I doubt), they're screwed. Is there any legal "deadline", when code *must* be released? Having in mind terms of LGPL?

i installed the other two debs too via xterminal. there is an icon in the menu called 720 p rec. then i click it. xterm window appear. it records but i cant c wat i am recording. and no sound too. i have the dsp profile loaded
