Re: What's the best Handheld gnu/linux machine for 2016?
What! You expect me to read or something! I just checked. There is a thread with the same name but for year 2017. That thread discusses the problem Gnuroot Debian was having with Oreo. Should have posted there since I was addressing that issue.

Far from I know the Gemini PDA could be a choice.
It has 20nm mediatek x20(2x a72+8x a53 cores) 4G RAM 64G emmc+TF Card support. 6inch 1080p ips display(multi-touch capability) (2015 spec. Not good for games because of over-heating problem, buy fine for daily usage) It does come with a QWERTY keyboard. I think it was Linux & Android7.1 dual-boot.(open-source driver as well) It comes from $249-$299(an advaced edition with 4G support) Maybe you could take a look. I didn't have one myself, so make your own choice. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/g...le-device--2#/ |

Gemini PDA eh?
Never heard of that one here before... Perhaps someone should do a thread devoted to it. |

Not sure about the build quality. Its appearance does remind me of the wince HPC's in the late 90's.
