Little things like the keyboard. Nice keyboard but it doesn't automatically add a period after pressing space bar twice. Also no emojis.

The web browser is basic as well.

That being said its expected from a young OS

It's not really a "young" OS. We're approaching 3 years since the first release and it was based on MeeGo which had had years of development prior to Sailfish.

The fact it's still got massive bugs, missing features, poor services and a confused UI is a function of Jolla's lack of resources and direction, not the age of the OS. That isn't going to change anytime soon so you're going to have to most likely live with what you're finding for a few years and navigate the bug list on together.jolla.com.

There's some OS glitches from trying to incorporate their own features (fingerprint scanner, TRI cinnect, etc)

I just had a close look at some new OS translation strings and the fingerprint scanner support is in the pipeline to be implemented soon.

AND i get to keep this evaluation phone.

given the limited Jolla C scored some 400$ on ebay in the last weeks, Jolla Tablet went for 612€ max, you could actually be rewarded with paying NIL overall or even make profit with your TRI experience in that case.
Wouldn't that be a nice compensation for your long wait, sailfish shortcomings and slow further development ;)

Or be instant TMO hero and have a fixed price evaluation unit lottery here :D

No, translations are sort of public community supported and a good source for update spoilers :D

We all work for Jolla, except Dave999... he's against! ;)

No, seriously. Translation tool is free for everyone to contribute or just watch.
