i dont get crash bandicoot to run 100% with latest psx4m. Is there any games that runs 100% speed with good sounds ? Only kula world runs full speed for me.

shnigi i doesn't see any maemo elements so it's can be fake (video from PC emu)
i can't say much more cuz i doesn't play crash bandicoot

nesrazz: you should install ssh-server to N900 and connect to N900 from PC using ssh(linux) or putty(windows)

screen now doesn't get off, ctrl+backspace should work, and now it doesn't require ssh connection

yes , i start without black screen, it runs well

edit:

i installed psx4m and psx4m gui and permissions reasigned keys

and i started your new pscx .now i can play without ssh and wihout black screen and with sound i think that it is running more slow that first version without sound. but it is logical i think.

how i select plugins?? i can see plugins in folder pcsx but wihout gui interface . how i choose i can start with one graphic plugin or other??

samipower there is no way to select another gpu(in fact that can produce bugs that we have before)
todo is make all Notaz menu as command line argumens(like psx4m) and make possibility in psx4m-gui select backend
to gles psx4m todo is like before: configuring keys

Just tried your latest build and altho it runs Tekken 3 it doesnt seem as fast as the gles version you supplied before. Ridge Racer runs almost full speed and flawless on the previous version :d Cant wait till theres a running stable version with selectable cores :D

hi guys! i stucked at start an app with psx4m via x-terminal. i followed the instructions written in q8phantom's guide, but when i try to load an iso, img file it says "error loading filename.img/iso"
this is my first post here, so i'm sorry if i was not so prudent, but i tried to google for it with no success. thanks for any advise!
i tried to install the psx4all, but it's not isntallable.

you have to also install the psx4m-gui.

also, you can't install psx4all while the psx4m is installed.

Notaz published pcsx-rearmed r4
added real BIOS support (and various things for it to work)
fixed various recompiler issues
added interpreter option (useful to overcome dynarec bugs)
fixed some memory card related issues with HLE bios
rewrote frame limiter (old was sometimes sleeping needlessly)

so new version of pcsx-rearmed for maemo will be soon

AgogData: psx4m-gui is just small tool to avoid using x-term for psx4m(next build will also support changing core to psx4m\gles and pcsx-rearmed (different game compatible as you know) ). So psx4m-gui will be developed in nearest future. psx4m will be merged with pcsx (they already can use our gles gpu) in one powerfull emu ;-)

jimmybonsaville: i have no time now, current project deadline is 20.01 (today 16.01). when it'll be finished i'll continue psx4-gui,psx4m\gles and pcsx-rearmed (yeap, no ideas about any kind of improvements in psx4m)

i already installed psx4all on my device, but after bios run, then loading the game. when the game start it really-really slowly.
why this could be happen?

note: i tested "metal gear solid" game.

Tried to boot Spyro 3, but didnt even get to the menu, i do hear the sounds though..
Does anyone know how to get this working, and what i need to install/configure apart from just installing the PSX4ALL package? Thanks!

Uh oh.
That didn't work... It says the pakage is damaged... Now what?

edit: Downloaded it with my computer. its installed now.

I have been playing Spyro 2 and 3 for a while now, using the PCSX-rearmed core. But if i try to load Gran Tourismo 2 it doesnt work past the menu. Are there any setting which might help fixing this? I am not sure what all settings are for..

how do I access these settings? is this psx4all or psx4m and whats the difference? im trying to run ff8 on my ipad and im having the problem where i cant see anything on the worldmap. any help would be appreciated.

You need to buy Nokia N900, then install PSX4All Maemo Edition, then you will be able to find these options in the application settings. :rolleyes:
