If you turn off the animations you can gain a reasonable amount of speed back, and makes things more responsive

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

Great work guys, I've been lurking till it was at a more friendly level to install, looks like its there so I'm having a go.

just in case any one else had problems, when partitioning, the <fat32> number is "blocks of 1024 bytes" , so for mine I wanted 2.1gb so i put ",2100,C"

Also I needed to reboot after running the sfdisk command before I could run the mkdosfs or mke2fs command. (the umount command failed too)

Hope it helps some one else.

This video has been removed because it is too long. Regular YouTube videos must be 10 minutes or less.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

btw I recently encountered a problem with installing apps from Market, I have my ext 3 partition at 800mb, it just wouldn't like it no matter what I did (Ie, clearing up the sd card etc.), when I changed the partition to 1ghz + that's when I was able to install.

so I assume, installing from Market will only accept a partitioned ext3 1gb and above but not greater than 2gb

Hope this makes sense and helpful for Noobs like me.

@Cloudpunisher

I get the same problem. I sort of fixed it by opening Google Talk occasionally.

Also, I no longer have a home button.
