That means it's using hardware video overlay for displaying video (which is good for performance). When an overlay is active (like in default media player or camera app), TV out shows only overlay video (zoomed to 4:3, and you can't see any GUI), but for it to show up on the device screen, it has to be filled with a specific color, because at a very low level, pixels of that color are replaced by pixels of the video. I see some specs here (how to set the size and format), but I can't see how to set the magic color, or what is the default. I guess the relevant devs here already know how overlay works, but I just had to be a smart-***.

Also, is there a legal way to obtain game demos as IPK files? I don't have a Pre, and no one I know has one, but I'd really love to see this in action.

It's very easy to play NOVA online, just create a gameloft profile than sign in, and then choose a server to play ;)

p.s. I played once but it was a bit difficult beacuse there is no multi-touch unfournately:o

Just finished N.O.V.A it is a very good game, the best i played on my n900 :D im just wondering if NOVA 2 will come out for palm pre?

since i installed preenv and its games the space for memory for installable apps is getting lower and lower.
i have only 70mb left now..
is there a way to increase the space for installable apps ?
what are the steps ?
i hope it doesnt require a flashing of the device ...

by the way ...
since i wanted to delete the supertux 2 games .. to free my apps memory.
there were two files of super tux 2:
SuperTux2
SuperTux2 -DataFiles

when i try to uninstall either of these , it says unable to uninstall the application is needed by other program ..
they both need each other to run so non of these cant be uninstalled from app manager ...
is there anyother way to delete this game ???
from xterminal maybe??

Yes there is a way, but this way required you to do a complete wipe of your eMMC and repartitioning it to make your Opt partition bigger.

Do it at your own risk, if you already know how to repartition your PC.
It won't wipe anything but the process might fail, backup your files!

Run 'sudo apt-get remove supertux2 supertux2-data' in a terminal.
