Yeah. Cue was spot-on. They were indeed talking about the 16gb version which is an item I would have to have had delayed shipment from the UK to the US.

They do have the 8gb version, even had an open boxed version that they "found" while on the phone. That's the one I'll be targeting because it's doubtful I'll keep it, I just want to test it and won't feel so guilty about sending it back.

I think I'll still get hit with the darn restocking fee, but that's fine.

I meant the signal loss if you touch the frame?

Re: iPhone 4

Well I almost thought of getting one again as the issue seemed to be only on the left side... when...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03PQy...layer_embedded BANG!!!!

Just look at the comparison with 3G/3GS

I mean I had the 3G and I'm one of those hiking people... let me tell you I was the only one on the whole mountain without a signal! Can't complain about the city but in outdoor regions I kept having the worst signal... Now I see this does even worse than 3G...

How much should the stupid design affect performance????

Apple does not specify, for example, whether or not it will still track your location even with the Location Services global control turned off. It's also not clear how long Apple intends to store your location data, and what kind of safeguards it has in place to protect its database of location information.

I think they did a pretty good job with the non-removable battery...

It's possible that they address the antenna issue with a minor hardware revision and put all this behind.

Re: iPhone 4

I don't see what's minor in this? The signal on previous iPhones was bad and now it has gone to awful.

Even if the touching of the antennas is an issue I could use clear ducktape... but the signal is just bad.

I bet this has everything to do with infringing other companies patents.

And even if they recall it, just imagine how long it would take to disassemble one million devices...

God I'm pissed T-2 weeks till my B-day and I have nothing to get me.

Anyone having a blu-ray writer? is it worth it?

The thing I realised today was that given the way I hold my phone, I am not iPhone 4 compatible :D Are you?

Good news is that I have spotted an excellent business opportunity though. Given all the reception issues with the phone, I guess we know what the best selling iPhone 4 accessory is going to be
