i'm using MK 0.1-29 on sailfish 1038.

I noticed that MK now supports landscape mode in the chat window, but not the main window with contacts. Not sure if this is because of sailfish update or coderus update.

Problem: whenever MK chat is in landscape mode and i swipe from the side to go to the home screen, the GUI window is closed. The daemon is still running as I am still getting messages, but need to reopen MK from the apps screen to see them. I also get a notification when swiping up from the bottom of the screen

No problems when the chat is in portrait mode.

@TMavica about a week after shipping. I'll notice when it will be shipped.
@zero please read 1.0.3.8 release notes and ask Jolla why gestures working in that way :)

Define "from the side" - on my Jolla the behaviour with the new update is as I think it should be - swiping from the side in landscape mode means from the shorter ends of tzhe phone, what was the top or bottom when holding it in portrait mode. i.e. When in landscape mode your finger does exactly the same to close or go to home screen as in portrait, although the phone is rotated 90°.

I think this behaviour is logical and intuitive, but maybe they could include a switch for people who like it the other way around.

Or have I misunderstood you and your Jolla actually closes when you swipe your finger left-right in landscape?
