I saw Paypal on the auction, but not PalPal protection. Did you see where it says PayPal protected? They are two different things.

I just looked again, that Paypal icon is not displaying properly for me. It looks like it says $150 protection.

I´m currently selling 5 items and have made somewhere near 300 transactions on ebay since '95/96. :D

Under the Payments section right next to the image of the N900 it says Pay with PayPal and you're fully protected.

So you´ve got the protection.

This is strange! I look at it with IE and it says what you see. I look at it with Firefox in win7 and see $150 Protection.

on the n900 page on buy.com it says they start shipping the 23rd. they also stopped taking orders. i am guessing that is because they have already sold the amount of phones they are getting in their first shipment. i assume amazon and newegg just like piling up the preorders which is why they wont give you an exact date because they just put you on a list. that is my opinion though. the buy.com thing is under the q&a . it also says that answer was from a buy.com sales rep. i hope it is true!

does anyone know about DHL or UPS if i want to ship the N900 international i mean if my friend send me from USA MA state to Lebanon ( middle east ) is it concidered package shipment or something else and does anyone knows how much time it will take ?

He can gift it and just put the value at 100 dollars and it will pass customs without any issues

I would go with the cheapest of the three (DHL FedEX and UPS), you could do USPS but they give the package to the Postal of the country they deliver in, but they are a bit cheaper. I don't know how reliable the Postal is where you live, I wouldn't trust some dude with my 600 dollar phone that gets paid nothing.

Look it up yourself. Shipping sites can give you an example shipping time.

I don see shipping on 23rd anywhere... i checked Q&A... says expected release date is 22nd... Think ill call them tomorrow and see what they say.... i want it now :(

i ordered mine on the 18th of November. Do ya;ll think mine will be shipped out on the 11/30/2009 since i ordered from newegg ,And im sure theres been thousands who ordered before me.

Depends, Amazon is allot cheaper than Newegg even after rebate. I also think Amazon is Nokia's prime e-tailer since they were announced in the press release the other day, so I would think Amazon is getting a bigger batch.

adding to this.....on my orders page it says this order is in the shipping process and cannot be cancelled. They have not charged me yet. I think that will happen when they scan it out monday morning.

i pre-ordered here in italy and have just had a message from nokia and UPS to say the n900 will arrive on the 24th ! :)

looking forward to playing with my new toy. previously had a palm treo pro through my work which was rubbish but introduced me to the idea of getting a proper smart phone.
