Yeah, it's always a better idea to launch the hardware with no software to run on it or in a crashy beta state. :)

Well, hibernation doesn't usually last 8 months... On a weird related note, Did you know bears go into hibernation pregnant and give birth while in hibernation?

Yeah... I saw a documentary once where they took some cubs out of a den while the mother was still in hibernation (there was a good reason for doing so, can't remember what it was though).
